Computer Standards
Windows PCs are the standard computer configuration provided to adequately meet TAMU-CC computing needs. Macbooks are available for faculty if it is their preferred system and for staff by following the exception process. These enterprise-level computers are expected to remain in service for a minimum of six years depending on the university funding provided. All devices have Intel Core i7 processors and Solid State Drives (SSD).
