Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi serves as a regional ecosystem for innovation and an intellectual hub for the Coastal Bend and Beyond.

The Division of Research and Innovation (R&I) integrates research, academics, and immersive opportunities to enhance student success through scholarly and creative activity. Additionally, it promotes community engagement through opportunities for collaborative research and workforce development.

R&I consists of nine reporting units that focus on supporting and expanding research, scholarly, and creative activities within the TAMU-CC and greater Corpus Christi community. These units include:
