The mission of the Office of Research Development (ORD) is to promote, cultivate, and advocate for research and creative activity based on the academic community’s interests.

Our vision is to provide outstanding proposal development services and expertise in our areas to create a world-class customer experience to foster research and creative activity excellence across the Island University.

Research News Listserv

The Office of Research Development has a weekly email listserv with announcements from the Office of Research Development and Division of Research and Innovation. Research News emails are typically sent on Wednesday mornings when the University is open. This listserv provides researchers on campus with information about:

  • Upcoming Research and Innovation events
  • Internal and external funding opportunities
  • Webinars and events related to research and creative activity
  • Other opportunities and general announcements

If you are interested in receiving Research News announcements and would like to be added to the listserv, please contact researchdevelopment@tamucc.edu with your name and TAMU-CC email address.

Pivot-RP

The Office of Research Development and the Mary and Jeff Bell Library provide access to Pivot-RP to staff and students. This database allows the user to search for funding and collaboration opportunities from federal and private sources, as well as the European Union and Australia.
