Newly elected Officers assume their duties at the start of every Fall semester.

Bi-Weekly meetings are held every Wednesday evenings 5-6pm.

Our Education & Outreach team oversees collaborating with local elementary and middle schools to host events discussing different sustainability topics. They are also responsible for collaborating with TAMUCC & local environmental organizations to host community and campus information sessions and tabling events.

Our garden & compost committee is responsible for maintaining the campus gardens. This includes creating, sorting, and packaging compost, tending to the aeroponic towers, collaborating with campus facilities to pick up their food waste, and hosting garden parties.

Our policy & advocacy committee is responsible for educating our members and student body on current environmental political issues. We host events regarding city council public comments, ballot review, and registering people to vote. We collaborate with other on campus and community environmental organizations to bring awareness to issues in the coastal bend, such as desal, invasive species, Indigenous rights, and environmental justice.

Our zero-waste team is responsible for hosting two beach cleans per month, alongside a campus outreach event. These include clothing/ resource swaps, bottle bricking, trash/ food waste audits, plant swaps, and zero waste seminars about how to incorporate low waste into your current lifestyle.
