Art Gallery

The Garcia Center Art Gallery hosts rotating exhibits. Additionally, some of Antonio E. Garcia's original artwork remains on permanent display at the Center: Mustangs, Treasure at Flour Bluff, Girl Waving, and a print of Juneteenth Revue (the original is at the Art Museum of South Texas).

The Art Gallery and other spaces at the Garcia Center are also available to rent for community events and meetings.

Current Exhibit

"Now and Then," a collection of works by Manuel Chapa, Nola Guajardo, Joe Pena, and Nora Verdin. This exhibit will showcase the art of four TAMU-CC alumni artists who worked under the guidance of former painting professor Bruno Andrade. Visitors will be able to see both current and older work that shows the artists' growth over the years.

Closing reception: Friday, March 8, 6-8pm (artist talk at 6:30pm)

Cost: Free
