Very Important Kids Camp
We are full for 2023 and will return in 2024!
Thank you in part to Valero Benefit for Children for supporting our Very Important Kids camp and Teens Building for Tomorrow camp again in 2023! Through their support, the Garcia Center has provided programming to over 50 Coastal Bend children.
The summertime Very Important Kids (VIK) Camp includes visual & performing arts, literacy, STEM, fitness, gardening, and of course fun!
Pre-registering holds your spot, and your payment covers the first week of camp.
Details
- VIK camp is for children age 5-12. Camp takes place Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30 pm at the Garcia Center, 2021 Agnes St.
- Breakfast and lunch are included.
- Camp costs $125 per week per child.
- Early care is available (7:30 am dropoff) for $25 per week per child.
- Late care is available (6:30 pm pickup) for $25 per week per child.
- Children should come dressed appropriately for art and movement. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
- We offer a limited number of scholarships for students in need. Contact 361-825-3600.
