Cesar Chavez March: April 6, 2024

The 2024 event is 9am-12pm (Marcha at 10am)

The annual César Chávez Festival and March is held to honor the Mexican-American labor activist and leader of the United Farm Workers. It helps to promote awareness of his non-violent principles to promote the plight of migrant farm workers throughout the United States.

The march starts at the corner of Agnes & Port, goes down Agnes to St. Joseph Church on 19th Street for the blessing of the marchers, and then ends at the Garcia Center with food, music, and guest speakers. Wear your organization's t-shirt and bring banners.

The march is held annually at the end of March or early April, and 100 to 500 people typically attend.

This event is organized by an outside organization. We will post exact dates for the once we receive details.
