New students must complete Islander Launch orientation before registering for classes at TAMU-CC. SPRING 2026 students will register for an asynchronous virtual course that will be completed on any date/time that works for them.

Who should attend this programming? Although all family members are welcome, the conference activities are not designed for younger children, so alternate childcare arrangements are encouraged.
How much does it cost for a family member to register for Islander Launch? The non-refundable $50 fee per family member (age 3+) must be paid by credit card at the time of reservation.
What does the orientation fee cover? The fee covers all costs of offering an orientation program, including meals, parking, materials, and event staffing.
Is it possible for me to attend part of the orientation without making a family member reservation? No, a paid reservation is required to attend any orientation programming.

Who can help my student with their Island ID/password issue? Your student must contact IT for assistance with login credentials via email, online chat, or phone.
