First-Time College Students (freshmen)
All new first-year students (freshmen) must complete Islander Launch orientation before registering for classes at TAMU-CC. Islander Launch is 100% virtual for students starting in spring 2025.

SUMMER and FALL 2025 orientation registration will be available in February.
To complete the orientation registration process, students must:
- Be admitted for spring 2025
- Claim their Island ID/password
- REGISTER HERE
After registering for the asynchronous virtual course, follow the instructions in your Islander email.
