Am I required to complete orientation?
The groups below are not required to complete Islander Launch orientation.
- Families
- Graduate Students
- After you register for classes, you will receive access to a virtual Canvas orientation resource to help you get started.
- Your department will contact you with information on welcome meetings and events. Please watch your email for details. If you have any questions, email GradCollege@tamucc.edu.
- International Graduate Students in Online Programs
- Islander Academy (Dual Credit) Students
- A separate orientation will be offered for Islander Academy students. For more information, email Islander.Academy@tamucc.edu.
- Post-Baccalaureate Students
- RELLIS Students
- RELLIS will offer its own orientation. For more information, visit the RELLIS Orientation website.
- Returning Students
- Transient Students
You are required to complete orientation if you are in one of the groups below.
- First Time In College (Freshmen) Students
- *International Students
- *International graduate students in online programs are not required to complete orientation.
- Transfer Students
- Students in Fully Online Programs
