About Us
Student Support Services-STEM is a federally funded TRIO program that supports low-income, first generation students, and students with documented disabilities majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Health related fields.
The goal of SSS-STEM is to assist students with these underrepresented backgrounds with comprehensive FREE services to maximize their potential and earn a baccalaureate degree. Services are tailored to meet a student's academic, financial, and career needs including:
- Academic Tutoring/Coaching
- Advice and Assistance in Postsecondary Education
- Private Computer Lab with Free Printing
- Financial and Economic Literacy
- Scholarship and Financial Aid Assistance
- Assistance with Graduate School Applications
- Cultural and Educational Field Trips
- Skill Improvement Workshops
- Laptop and Calculator Lending
