Ask-A-Nurse Phone Line
For your privacy and convenience the Health Center offers a Nurse Line 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can call and speak to a nurse about your health related concerns or questions from the privacy or anonymity of your home. Call (361) 825-2601 and ask to speak to a nurse or press option #2 if after normal business hours. The phone line is staffed during regular office hours by the Health Center nursing staff and by CareNet after hours.
Urgent Care Centers
Health Center staff make referrals to local urgent care centers to individuals who are not currently enrolled, are non-students, or are students seeking care after hours, on weekends or when providers are not available at the Health Center.
There are several same day appointment, urgent care facilities available in the Corpus Christi area. You can either be seen as a walk-in or make an appointment (according to facility requirements). Please contact facilities for specific information. Students are responsible for all costs associated with outside health care providers.
