AI Learnathon

The 2026 AI Learnathon is a system-wide, month-long initiative designed to build foundational artificial intelligence (AI) literacy among faculty and staff across The Texas A&M University System.

Running March 27 – April 30, 2026, the Learnathon brings together coordinated learning opportunities, campus-led events, and system-level programming to support responsible, practical engagement with AI.

By combining hands-on learning with system collaboration, the AI Learnathon supports a shared goal of strengthening institutional readiness for the future of teaching, learning, research, and administration.

Grow with Google - AI Learnathon

Looking to develop new digital skills or explore AI tools for education? For a limited time, Grow with Google offers free training programs designed for educators and professionals - "Google AI Essentials", "Google Prompting Essentials", and the "Google AI Professional Certificate".

Google AI Essentials

This program teaches how to use generative AI tools, create effective prompts, and use AI responsibly. This is for people who are looking to integrate AI into their work to boost their productivity and supercharge their skills.

Google Prompting Essentials

This program teaches how to give clear and specific instructions to generative AI – known as prompting – to help unlock more of AI’s benefits. This is for people who are looking to save time and simplify their work with AI.

Google AI Professional Certificate

This program teaches you how to effectively use generative AI for common workplace tasks. It focuses on applying AI to enhance your strategic thinking, spark creativity, and automate routine activities.
