Use an SCBA & Level A Suit. Perform a cleanup.

This is a 5-day course that performs cleanups in the lab, parking lot, or along the Bayshore. Non-site specific offsite training for personnel working Superfund sites, RCRA corrective actions, and other activities as required by 29 CFR 1910.120 (e). Includes chemical and physical properties of hazardous substances, site characterization and control, safety plans, PPE, decontamination, and hands-on exercises and activities.

24-Hr Chemistry for HazMat (Hazardous Materials) Responders OSHA/RCRA

Strategies & countermeasures. Chemistry & emergency response. Recordkeeping.

This 3-day course provides a wide scope of HazMat chemistry and how to respond to incidents. The course includes but is not limited to, topics in Incident Command Systems (ICS)in HazMat response; PPE; HazMat Chemistry for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE), weapons of mass destruction (WMD), Terrorism and Clandestine Labs; HazMat chemistry demonstrations; Prevention, Control, Containment, & Countermeasures; internet resources & computer programs for HazMat’s; scenario response involving a hazardous materials incident.

24-Hour  HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response) OSHA/RCRA 

Reports. Record keeping. Personnel safety. Get trained.

This 3-day course aids in training for personnel engaged in occasional activities at uncontrolled hazardous waste sites and or TSD facilities as required by 29 CFR 1910.120 (p). Includes waste sampling and analysis, waste handling, labeling, manifests and record keeping, container management, spill prevention, and PPE.

8-Hour HAZWOPER (Supervisor Safety) OSHA/RCRA

Take control of the situation.

This 1-day course deals with non-site specific training for supervisory personnel on Superfund sites, RCRA corrective actions, and other activities as required by 29 CFR 1910.120 (e) (4). Includes compliance inspections, environmental crimes and liabilities, enforcement, public relations and the media, and Incident Command.

8-Hour HAZWOPER (Hazardous Materials & Waste Safety Refresher) OSHA/RCRA

Keep up to date. Learn new requirements.

Required 1-day training for attendees of previous OSHA/RCRA Safety training courses in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)(8). Includes an ever-changing variety of topics on waste management issues, safety concerns, and recent regulatory developments in environmental protection and personnel safety.

Hazardous Materials Transportation II - Recurrent Training

Keep up with regulation changes & HAZMAT transport issues.

The 1 day required training update for "hazmat employees" in accordance with the DOT regulations in 49 CFR 172.704 (c)(2). Includes a review of emergency response procedures, Hazardous Materials Tables, record-keeping, HMR revisions, and more.
