STAFF RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION MANUAL

The Recruitment and Selection Manual is a comprehensive guide for hiring benefits-eligible staff. This manual is intended to assist supervisors in their roles as hiring managers and enhance their overall knowledge of the hiring and recruitment process. To ensure compliance in the recruitment and selection process, hiring managers and all search committee members should read the manual in its entirety when a position becomes vacant.

CONFIDENTIALITY STATEMENT

This form is used for the search committee members to sign that they understand that all materials shared during the recruitment process are kept confidential. 


PRE-EMPLOYMENT REFERENCE CHECK FORM

This form is to be used for obtaining recommendations for prospective employees.


NEW EMPLOYEE ASSIGNMENTS CHECKLIST

Provide this checklist to each new employee before their start date.


POSITION REVIEW FORM

This form is used to request one of the following for a regular staff position:

  • New Position

  • Equity or Market Adjustment

  • Counter Offer

  • Promotion

  • Reclassification


HIRE REQUEST FORM FOR INTERNAL VACANCY

This form is used to fill a vacancy with a current employee.
