Professional & Graduate Writing
Presented by: Dr. Marvarene Oliver

Academic writing at the graduate level can be anxiety-producing and challenging, even for students who have recently completed their bachelor's degrees. In this workshop, Dr. Oliver will discuss what it is and how it differs from non-academic writing, provide useful hints and broad "dos and don'ts" in academic writing, and the importance of understanding what is expected in particular assignments. She will also provide tips for reducing anxiety about writing in graduate school.
