Islander Family Weekend 2022 will take place October 7-9 and is open to all currently enrolled TAMU-CC students and their families! Join us for a weekend of fun as you get to know the Island Campus. Family Weekend welcomes the whole family to experience life as an Islander and features a variety of events created just for you. Signature events include:
- A special outdoor lunch with TAMU-CC President Dr. Kelly M. Miller and University leadership
- Islander Wind Jam, featuring food, fun, and family activities (including kite flying)!
- Family photo-ops
- Opportunities to meet with campus faculty, staff, and student organizations
- Academic demonstrations
- Campus tours
- Access to discounted Islanders Athletics tickets in advance or at the door
- Information sessions and much, much, more!
A detailed schedule of events, including times and locations, is available here. Programming occurs all weekend, with the majority of signature events happening on Saturday.
To register, you will need your student’s Islander email address or StudentID (A-number, include the A) to create a family weekend registration account.
The individual who creates the account will be the primary contact for family weekend information and can be a parent or family member.
There is a small fee for Islander Family Weekend 2022 which covers event costs, Saturday lunch, and a weekend full of fun! Islanders and their families may choose to add optional ticketed events to their weekend schedule, however, the majority of events are included at no additional cost.
Islander Family Weekend Fee:
- $10 for Islander Family members (non-refundable)
- FREE for current TAMU-CC students
- FREE for Future Islanders (18 years and under)
All participants will get an Islander Family Weekend T-Shirt included with registration!
