Commitment to Environmental Stewardship

Members of The Texas A&M University System, including Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, have a rich history of environmental stewardship that continues to be positively reflected every day on our campuses and at our agencies.

Our commitment to environmental stewardship is proven as we plan, design, and build our facilities. Additionally, on a daily basis, we have many professionals, workers, contractors, and volunteers maintaining our standards and improving our practices.

Moreover, environmental stewardship is a commitment that has been codified by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents in System Regulation 34.01.03 Environment. As university president, I heartily endorse this regulation.

If you would like to learn more, have ideas for how we can improve or would like to play an active role, you are invited to reach out to the A&M System Environmental Manager at safety@tamus.edu or TAMU-CC Environmental Health and Safety at ehs@tamucc.edu.

For more environmental content, please visit the Environmental Management section of the system’s website or the university website

Sincerely,

Dr. Kelly M. Miller, Ph.D.
