Staffing and certifications
- At least one staff member certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED will be on site during program hours. First‑aid supplies and emergency procedures are posted in each classroom.
Allergies and medication
- Indicate allergies and medication on the registration form. If medication must be administered during camp, complete the medication authorization form and deliver medication in original packaging to staff at check‑in.
- Lunch and dining staff will be informed of allergy lists and other dietary restrictions submitted via registration. Staff enforce no‑sharing and monitor for allergic reactions
Heat and outdoor precautions
- Activities are held indoors except for the short, supervised walk to and from lunch; in extreme heat or inclement weather we will suspend the lunch walk, keep students indoors, increase hydration and cooling measures, and notify families of any major schedule changes.
Emergency procedures
- For serious medical emergencies staff will call 911 and notify the student’s emergency contact immediately. Minor injuries are treated on site and logged.
Accessibility and accommodations
- We strive to accommodate documented needs. Contact the camp office in advance to discuss specific accommodations.
