IRB Meeting Schedule

Protocols that do not meet exempt or expedited criteria are reviewed at a meeting attended by a majority of IRB members.

Full Committee Reviews generally occur on the second Friday of the month. However, scheduled meetings may be moved or rescheduled.

The agenda and study materials must be provided to the IRB members in advance of the meeting with enough time to thoroughly review your study. The meeting agenda closes the Wednesday of the week prior to the meeting (agenda closure date) to give members enough time to review any issues or questions for the board to consider prior to the meeting.

Protocol submissions will not be added to the meeting’s agenda after the Deadline to Submit date.

The deadline to submit is a recommended deadline to be placed on that month’s meeting agenda. Protocols are reviewed in the order in which they are received. To avoid delays in the review process, ensure you submit a complete application.
