SUBJECT: Dean of Students Office Referrals
Hello Islander Faculty and Academic Affairs Staff,
I am Lisa O. Perez, Assistant Vice President for Student Support & Dean of Students. I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for all your work this semester to help support our Islander students.
As you prepare for the upcoming semester, I ask that you please review items that you have in your syllabus as they relate to informing students about getting support through the Dean of Students Office. In the past you may have referred students to “Kristeen in SEAS” or ICARE for assistance. The Dean of Students Office is part of SEAS, and with the reorganization we had earlier in the year, people have shifted to new spaces. We are now located in the University Center, Suite 206.
To make things easier, we suggest that referrals for students who need assistance be made in one of the following ways:
- Online referral (preferred) https://www.tamucc.edu/care-assistance/services.php
- Phone call to 361-825-6219
- Email DeanofStudents@tamucc.edu (instead of seas@tamucc.edu)
- Reach out directly to any member of the Dean of Students team (see attached document)
