SUBJECT: Now Accepting Applications for the Minnie Stevens Piper Professor Award
Greetings Islander Faculty,
Faculty Senate is seeking applications for the Minnie Stevens Piper Professor Award. Ten awards of $5,000 each are made annually to professors for superior teaching at the college level. Selection is made on the basis of nominations submitted by each college or university in the State of Texas. Applications should be submitted to submitted electronically to faculty.senate@tamucc.edu by noon October 13, 2023.
The Minnie Stevens Piper Professor Award seeks to identify and honor effective and dedicated teachers. For more information about this award, please visit the Piper Professor Award web page.
