SUBJECT: Interfolio Data to Populate Online Faculty Directory
Dear Faculty:
Beginning September 1, 2022, TAMUCC will begin using data from Interfolio to populate all faculty information pages in our online directory. In preparation for that, we ask that you take some time before then to go through your entries to be sure that everything will display in the correct manner.
The Interfolio sections in question are spread over the Profile and Activities areas. In particular, they are the Education, Interests (Research Interests), and Courses Taught sections in the Profile area, and the Scholarly Contributions and Creative Productions section in the Activities area. For the Profile sections, just be sure that what is in there is current and correct. For Scholarly Contributions and Creative Productions section in the Activities area, you will want to designate any of the entries that you want displayed as “No” in the field “Internal Use Only”:
Correspondingly, any entries that you do not want to show publicly on your directory page should be marked as “Yes” in the field “Internal Use Only.” Those entries will still be pulled in if you generate a CV or FAR from Interfolio, but they will not appear on the university website in any public way.
