SUBJECT: Implementation of Revised Procedures for Curriculum Submissions and Catalog Revisions
At the end of February, the University approved revised procedures for 11.10.99.C0.01, Development of Academic Degree Programs, 11.10.99.C0.02, Development of Certificate Programs, and 11.10.99.C0.03, Development of Courses and Catalog Revisions. To facilitate the transition to the new workflow timelines, the 2022-23 Catalog will be published by June 15, 2022. Important information related to timelines and the process are provided in the chart below.
*Because the UCC submission dates occur after Fall schedule deadlines, courses approved by the UCC after mid-February will not be available in the course schedule until the following Spring.
** Curriculum items meeting criteria for expedited review can be submitted by any deadline. The UCC chair has the authority to move any proposal to Full Review if more information is needed.
