The Kilgore Endowment for Texana provides Special Collections & Archives of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Bell Library with a perpetual fund to acquire rare Texana and related subject materials to augment its voluminous Kilgore Collection. Established by Mrs. Daniel E. Kilgore through initial gifts totaling $50,000 in 1997-1998, the Endowment makes it possible for materials to be added regularly to the Kilgore Collection so that it may grow and develop as a research resource.
We invite you to assist Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in its mission to serve the educational needs of the Corpus Christi and greater South Texas region by donating to the Kilgore Endowment. In this manner you can help perpetuate Dan Kilgore's goal of fostering the study of Texas and local history. Contributions should be addressed to the University Archivist, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, Mary and Jeff Bell Library, 6300 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78412. Checks should be made payable to the TAMU-CC foundation and specified for the Kilgore Endowment for Texana.
We invite questions and/or comments and look forward to hearing from you. Please contact us at specialcollections@tamucc.edu or (361)825-4500.
