Student Endowment Internship Scholarship
Overview
The Student Endowment Internship Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students who are completing an internship during the 2023-24 Academic Year. Students can only be awarded one time per academic year.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Be in an internship during the semester you apply for this scholarship (2023-24 Academic Year)
- Be currently enrolled at TAMU-CC for a least 3 semester credit hours in the semester you apply for this scholarship
- Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students & 3.0 for graduate students
- Completed at least two semesters at TAMU-CC
- Not previously awarded this scholarship within the 2023-24 Academic Year
Application Process
The online application is now open for Summer 2024 and will be closed on June 3, 2024 or when 26 students have been awarded, whichever comes first. Apply by May 1, 2024 to ensure the fund is in your S.A.I.L account before the 1st day of class. Applicants must be in good academic, behavioral and financial standing with the university. For a complete application, students must be prepared to upload the following documents during the time of submission. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Signed Offer Letter provided by the internship site for the Summer 2024 semester (Note: For students enrolling in practicum programs, a copy of your class enrollment is acceptable in the absence of a signed offer letter from your training site.)
- Letter of Recommendation
- An essay between 200-500 words describing how this opportunity will benefit you and support your educational goals
Awards
If selected, students will be notified of their award within two weeks of the Career and Professional Development Center receiving a completed application. Eligible students will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each selected recipient will receive an award in the amount of $1,000.00. Recipients will be notified of their award via email and funds will be applied to their SAIL account within 7-14 business days.
