H1B STATUS/VISA

The H1B is a temporary, non-immigrant employment-based status for individuals entering the United States to perform services in a “Specialty Occupation.” The H1B is an employer-sponsored status for a specific job and location; therefore, the H1B is an employer and geographically specific. The employer is subject to U.S. Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services laws as they pertain to the status.
