3MT® Competition

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a competition celebrating the research of graduate students while promoting and improving skills in students’ presentation, academic, and research communication. Developed by The University of Queensland, the competition encourages students to effectively communicate their research and creative activities in language appropriate for a non-specialist audience.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Applications for the Annual 3MT® competition open on September 12, 2025.
- Apply here by October 2, 2025. A 3-minute video and a static PowerPoint slide are due at the time of application. Applicants that are selected to move forward will be contacted directly.
- The Annual 3MT® competition will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025.
