Study Abroad Scholarships
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi offers university funded scholarships to students participating in a credit-bearing study abroad program. Along with completion of the scholarship application available at Scholarship Universe, eligible students must meet and maintain the following criteria:
- A minimum 2.5 GPA (Undergraduate) or 3.0 GPA (Graduate)
- Undergraduate Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours for long term study abroad programs (Fall/Spring) or 3 hours for Summer study abroad programs
- Graduate Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credit hours for long term study abroad programs (Fall/Spring) or 3 hours for Summer study abroad programs
- Study abroad courses must be degree plan eligible
- Student cannot study abroad in their home country
- Student must not have been previously awarded the Study Abroad Scholarship
- Student must not be a graduating senior
- Study abroad location must be in a foreign country
NOTE:
- Students must be in good academic & disciplinary standing
- The Study Abroad Scholarship is not available to Ph.D/Doctoral candidate research abroad
- International students are eligible to apply if they intend to participate in an approved TAMU-CC study abroad program

- Include the Letter of Acceptance from your Study Abroad Program
- Include your resume
- Submit (2) letters of reference
- Short Essay - How will study abroad affect your career
Deadlines
Summer - April 1st
Fall - June 1st
Spring - November 1st
