Island Ambassadors

The Island Ambassadors are Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi's volunteer student leaders that lead campus tours, serve on student panels, and host various recruitment and presidential events throughout the year.

Request an Island Ambassador

 

Requirements to become an Island Ambassador:

  • Complete an interview
  • Have a minimum 2.75 GPA
  • Give weekly campus tours/Assist in the office
  • Attend all trainings
  • Attend all recruitment events
  • Be enrolled full-time (12 hours) 

Benefits include:

  • $400 yearly credit ($200 per semester)
  • Priority class registration
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Graduation stole (after 2 years of participation)
  • Islander merch and uniform
  • Gain leadership skills
  • Build lasting friendships!
  • Priority consideration for Islander Launch Crew/Orientation Leader and Islander Welcome Center positions
