Academics

So you want to study theatre and/or dance!  Fantastic!  The TAMUCC Department of Theatre and Dance has created a multitude of rigorous paths of study that are guaranteed to meet the needs of a variety of arts students.

THEATRE

Students who major in Theatre typically choose one of the following paths towards a B.A. degree:

• Acting/Directing
• Design/Tech
• Acting/Directing: Teacher Certification
• Design/Tech: Teacher Certification

DANCE

Students may also minor in Dance by adding Certificate in Dance or Dance Minor to their degree allowing them to teach dance in the public school system after graduation.
