Landing on the Island: The Inaugural Improvisational Happening
In January 2018, students from Opera Workshop collaborated with students from Islander Improv and Professors Leticia Bajuyo (Department of Art), Ellen Denham (Department of Music), and Meredith Melville (Department of Theatre and Dance) in workshops in improvised movement, soundscapes, and narrative. The culmination was an improvised evening performance featuring the students along with interactive sculptures by Prof. Bajuyo and her sculpture students.
