Gifts in Kind
A gift-in-kind is typically in the form of artwork, furniture, books, paintings or other property which you as the donor may give to the University and in return receive a charitable deduction for the value of the article.
It is the responsibility of the donor to secure an official appraisal, if valued at $5,000.00 and up for the fair market value of the item to be donated.
