Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi offers alert notifications over SMS for mobile devices. Providing a mobile phone number is required for enrollment. Visit MyIslandID.tamucc.edu to opt in to SMS messaging for password recovery. Verification of the mobile phone provided is done through the enrollment process. Carriers Supported: AT&T, Sprint, Boost, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular®, T-Mobile®, Cellular One Dobson, Cincinnati Bell, Alltel, Virgin Mobile USA, Cellular South, Unicel, Centennial, Ntelos and MetroPC (T-Mobile is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages).

Note: Message & data rates may apply. Password recovery messages sent via SMS may not be delivered if your phone is not in range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within a coverage area, factors beyond the control of wireless carriers may interfere with message delivery, including the customer's equipment, terrain, proximity to buildings, foliage, and weather. Carriers are not responsible for the late delivery of messages. By opting in to receive SMS Messaging, you acknowledge that alerts may not be received in a timely manner and that your wireless carrier does not guarantee that alerts will be delivered.
