Accessibility Exception Request

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi must consider the accessibility of all information and communications technology we purchase, maintain, develop, and use, per federal and state regulations. When the IT is determined to be non-compliant with technical accessibility standards, the university must decide if the risk of procuring the IT is justified. IT exceptions to accessibility compliance must be documented.

This exception process is quite common across federal and state agencies and institutions.

Note: This exception form is only for hardware reviews. The software reviews must start at the Software Acquisition Request form in the Service Portal. A similar form is being tested for implementation on hardware to replace this form soon.
