Institutional Effectiveness Committee for Academic Units
Purpose or Function: The Institutional Effectiveness Committee for Academic Units is a group charged by the President to oversee and advise the university on issues regarding the assessment and continuous improvement efforts of educational programs at all levels and the University Core Curriculum Program.
Membership: The committee consists of the following ex-officio members: Associate Dean from each of the colleges and library, Associate Vice President for Planning, Analytics, Institutional Research, and Strategic Initiatives, Program Director of Assessment and Accreditation, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and the Speaker of Faculty Senate. The Student Government Association will appoint a representative to serve a one-year renewable term.
