Campus Wellness Committee

Purpose or Function: The Campus Wellness Committee works to facilitate and promote opportunities to enhance total well-being across campus. The eight-dimensional wellness wheel model serves as the framework for the committee and includes physical, environmental, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, financial, and occupational wellness.

Membership: The committee consists of the Director of Recreational Sports, Associate Vice President for Student Engagement and Success, Director of Disability Services, Director of University Services, Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, Human Resources Benefits Specialist, and the university's elected representative on the System Employee Benefits Advisory Committee as voting ex-officio members.  One (1) representative from each of the following areas will serve two-year renewable terms: the University Counseling Center, the University Health Center, and Human Resources.  These representatives will be appointed by their supervisors unless otherwise noted.  One representative from Staff Council and one representative from Faculty Advisory Council will be appointed for one-year renewable terms. Others who may be developing or delivering programs related to wellbeing may be added to the committee by the chair for one-year renewable terms as needed.
