Port of Corpus Christi Awards $20K to Fund TAMU-CC Engineering Capstone Projects

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - The Port of Corpus Christi has accepted Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi’s invitation to be a part of the Industry Capstone Sponsorship Program. In this program, companies offer project ideas relevant to their industry for the capstone student teams so that students can solve real-world engineering problems.

The Port of Corpus Christi has generously awarded TAMU-CC’s full request of $20,000 to fund engineering capstone projects. As a sponsor, the Port of Corpus Christi will be recognized by having its logo in digital promotions and will be offered an invitation for an engineer or engineering project/hiring manager to serve as a judge in the capstone project presentations.
