What is Canvas and how does it work?
Canvas is TAMU-CC's official learning management system (LMS). It provides provides a space (course shell) for each course taught each semester. Student enrollments and faculty assignments are handled automatically by the system.
A fully functional course shell provides tools for displaying content, interacting with students, and assessing students’ work. The system also supports various media types for creating engaging content. Canvas can be used for:

- Providing space for digital assignment submission and instructor feedback.
- Engaging students and instructors in discussions.
- Adding audio and video content.
