Academic Success Coaching Sessions are meetings with assigned professional staff. During the first meeting with an Academic Success Coach, students will discuss the factors that required them to be in the Academic Coaching Program and identify areas for a success plan. For the best results, it is recommended that you:
-
Prep before your session - Give some thought to what obstacles you might face, your primary concerns, and what you hope to accomplish during your coaching session.
-
Be an active participant - It may be helpful to bring your calendar and class materials, such as, notes or syllabi, to the session.
* You can expect various Academic Coaching meeting format options, including in-person, Zoom, and phone.
Peer Coaching Sessions are meetings with undergraduate students carefully selected and trained to work with students in the Academic Coaching Program. They provide educational assistance and resources so fellow students can better grasp, boost academic performance, and enhance their well-being.
Navigating Success Workshops help students learn more about effective study skills, time management, test preparation, and other academic-related topics. Workshops are held in person and virtually.
On-Demand Success Videos assist students in a video tutorial format. These videos empower students to navigate campus policies, study strategies, and life skills at the students own pace.
