Probation Credit Policy
Academic Probation Credit Restriction
Students not in good academic standing, defined by a Texas A&M-Corpus Christi grade point average (GPA) below 2.0, must follow a credit hour restriction and participate in the Academic Coaching Program. Students are permitted to enroll in a maximum of:
13 semester credit hours in a Fall or Spring semester
4 semester credit hours in Summer I and 4 semester credit hours in Summer II
If students enroll in more than the maximum number of credit hours, their schedule must be adjusted to the appropriate number of hours prior to the last day to add/drop a class in the semester of registration.
