Parking Services

The purpose of the Parking Services division is to provide parking to all students, faculty, staff, and guests of TAMU-CC.

TAMU-CC Tiered Parking System

Effective August 1, 2026

To improve parking availability and modernize our transit infrastructure, Parking Services is transitioning the university from our legacy parking model to a new tiered permit system.

Students, faculty, and staff will be able to choose to purchase a parking permit for one of six zones: A, B, C, D, Residential, or Rec Field lot.

Read more below to see which lots are available in each zone.

After 5 p.m. and on weekends, permit holders may park in any surface lot. This excludes access to residential lots and reserved parking spaces.

Zone A permit holders may park in any of the following locations:

Bayside Parking Garage (any floor)
Jellyfish lot
Angelfish lot
Angelfish Drive (located in front of the ECDC)
Miramar Office Staff Spaces
Turtle Cove lot
Natural Resources Center
Sanddollar lot
Curlew lot
Tarpon lot
Starfish lot
Harte Research Institute
Conrad Blucher Institute
Sea Horse lot
Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center
Hammerhead lot
Rec Field lot

Pricing Details

Zone B permit holders may park in any of the following locations:

Bayside Parking Garage (top floor only)
Turtle Cove lot
Natural Resources Center
Sanddollar lot
Curlew lot
Tarpon lot
Starfish lot
Harte Research Institute
Conrad Blucher Institute
Sea Horse lot
Woo Sung Lee Alumni Welcome Center

Pricing Details

Purchase a parking permit for the Rec Field lot and catch a ride aboard the Momentum Shuttle to the Island! The shuttle is free to ride for all Texas A&M-Corpus Christi students, faculty, staff, and contractors with a valid SandDollar$ ID, and travels between the Momentum and Island Campuses.

Momentum Village residents can walk to the parking shelter on Islander Way.

Reminders and Additional Information

It is our goal in Parking Services to facilitate a smooth and stress free permit process. Please see below for some reminders and additional information.

Parking policies are enforced 24/7, 365 days a year.
Parking registration required when parking on campus. Your license plate will be the key to registration.
You can have two vehicles linked to your permit, but only one is permitted to park on campus.
After the 12th day of classes, refunds will not be issues for parking permits.
