Texas A&M University Corpus Christi McNair Scholars Program
Texas A&M University Corpus Christi McNair Scholars Program
The mission of the McNair Scholars Program is to prepare first generation, income-eligible, and underrepresented undergraduate students to pursue doctoral degrees by involving them in research and other scholarly activities. Staff works closely with students accepted into the program as they complete their undergraduate requirements, support them to enroll in graduate programs and then track their progress through the successful completion of advanced degrees. The goal is to increase attainment of Ph.D. degrees by first-generation students and/or from underrepresented groups.
