The mission of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is to achieve excellence in teaching and education research at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, cultivating the next generation of scientists through innovative and rigorous academic programs. We are dedicated to leadership and innovation in chemical and biochemical research, addressing real-world challenges through our scholarly and scientific endeavors. Committed to serving both societies at large and our coastal community, we strive to use our expertise to solve regionally relevant issues, particularly those impacting coastal environments and industries.
