The Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi Department of Music invites rising high school students preparing for the TMEA or ATSSB All-Region and All-State auditions to attend a free workshop on this year's audition etudes. Get a head start on your preparation with guidance from our faculty and students.

TMEA Workshop
  • 9:00–9:20 a.m. – Check-in (Center for the Arts Lobby)
  • 9:30–11:00 a.m. – Workshop
ATSSB Workshop
  • 12:00–12:20 p.m. – Check-in (Center for the Arts Lobby)
  • 12:30–2:00 p.m. – Workshop
What to Bring
Students should bring:
  • Their instrument
  • Any necessary equipment (case, metronome, etc.)
  • A copy of the audition etudes
Percussion instruments will be provided; however, percussionists should bring their own sticks and mallets. Students are not expected to know the etudes before attending, though reviewing the music beforehand will help you get the most out of the workshop.
