Within this program, you will learn to provide well-designed instruction and assessment for students from a variety of backgrounds, develop classroom climates conducive to learning, apply in-depth knowledge of processes and practices associated with students’ learning development, and fulfill the roles and responsibilities of a professional educator. You will also gain specialized skills related to the certification track you choose.

The Elementary Education degree requires a minimum of 117-131 credits:

• 42 - Core Curriculum Program
• 2 - First-Years Seminars (when applicable)*
• 54-62 - Major Requirements & Supporting Fields
• 21-25 - Professional Development Requirement

*Full-time, first time in college students are required to take the first-year seminars.
