Educational Diagnostician Certification
Educational diagnosticians are special education professionals who assess and diagnose children with learning difficulties. To be certified as an educational diagnostician, you must have a master's degree, successfully complete the 33 semester hours for Educational Diagnostician Certification, and pass the required TExES exam.
This certification may be earned in conjunction with the Master's Degree in Special Education, and some classes count toward both objectives. For questions about whether your previous coursework may count toward this certification, contact an academic advisor.
