Dr. Faiza Khoja Named Dean of TAMU-CC College of Business

Khoja joins the Island University with more than two decades of higher education and leadership experience, most recently serving as Dean of the College of Business at Central Washington University.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has named Dr. Faiza Khoja as the new Dean of the College of Business, effective January 12, 2026. 

Khoja joins the Island University with more than two decades of higher education and leadership experience, most recently serving as Dean of the College of Business at Central Washington University. She brings extensive expertise in strategic management, industry engagement, experiential learning, and student success. 

With a strong commitment to student success and a collaborative approach to working with industry and community partners, Dr. Khoja is poised to strengthen the college’s role as a key contributor to regional economic growth and workforce development,” said Dr. Cate Rudowsky, TAMU-CC Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “We look forward to the impactful connections and innovations she will bring to the Islander community and beyond.” 

Prior to her role at Central Washington University, Khoja held leadership positions as Dean of the College of Business and Administration at Texas A&M University-Central Texas and as Senior Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of Houston-Downtown. Beyond academia, she founded a nonprofit school for neurodivergent individuals and serves on several community boards. Khoja earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business.
