October 2025 Is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a time to bring attention to the prevalence of domestic violence and promote education about its impact. For college students, it serves as an opportunity to engage in important conversations about prevention, respect, and healthy relationships.
This month, the TAMU-CC Civil Rights / Title IX Office encourages the campus community to learn more about the resources available on campus and actively work toward creating a safer environment for everyone. We invite you to join us at the awareness activities listed below. Together, we all play a vital role in fostering a community built on mutual respect, understanding, and awareness.
