Nicolas Tamez
Nicolas Tamez is a Software Applications Developer III for the Autonomy Research Institute (ARI) at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC). In this position, Nicolas leads technical development of AI/ML-driven software solutions, overseeing full-stack web development, enabling developers, and system integration while ensuring compliance with technical standards and best practices.
Previously, Nicolas was a Software Applications Developer II at ARI and worked on several projects. Within these projects, Nicolas worked on integrating many diverse third-party systems with ARI’s own capabilities, in addition to the development of proprietary software.
Prior to joining the staff at TAMU-CC, Nicolas worked for TATA Consultancy Services as a Software Developer. His responsibilities included the creation of scripts for the automation of data processing in GIS. There, Nicolas helped others and assisted with programming solutions and troubleshooting.
Nicolas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
